🍞GAPS APPROVED Almond Bread
🌿 Recipe:
▫️Preheat oven.
▫️Mix the following together: 2.5 Cups Almond Flour, 4 Large eggs or 5 Medium eggs, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or warm slightly melted butter, 1 tablespoon RAW Honey, 1 tablespoon ACV, 1/2 tsp Sodium Bicarbonate, 1/2 tsp raw sea salt.
▫️Allow to sit for 10 minutes as the ACV reacts with the sodium bicarbonate.
▫️Pour into a glass Pyrex loaf mold/tin.
▫️Place in oven and allow to cook for 45 to 60 minutes until the bread rises and develops that golden crisp crust.
Make sure you never use non-stick “tefal or similar” molds while baking or cooking. One reason I make my own grain free GAPS approved bread and other gut friendly recipes in my kitchen is because I used to get these wraps delivered to me until recently I realized they are using non stick commercial cooking presses to turn the dough into wraps. The toxic fumes and chemicals transferred to our food from nonstick coated cookware is, as most of us already know, significantly more detrimental to our health than gluten. It’s equally important to learn how your food is made as it is important to read the ingredients as well.
Gluten-Free Flour I do not recommend: Garbanzo Bean Flour, Flax Seed Meal, Tapioca Starch, Lentil Flour.
Gluten-Free Flour I do recommend: Coconut Flour, Almond Flour.
